Two Dresses

20 May

What a day! I think I am on some kind of high from being off tomorrow so I have been running around non stop!

I mentioned last night how Lincoln was being a bad baby…barking his balls off (ironically he doesn’t have the boys anymore), not listening to me, etc. Well his behavior did a complete 180 and he was finally my sweet baby that I am used to.

I said I wasn’t going to have ice cream but I lied and cracked open a single portion of Skinny Cow Dulce De Leche-only 150 calories, we like that.

Holy crap-this was amazing. It was decadent with lots of caramel and perfect for my sweet tooth that always wants a lil something something. It’s Lincoln approved as well!

I went to bed at a decent hour and slept in until 630A so I could catch the late bus, which ended up working out because the bus I normally take never even showed up. Which the ride up was a crowded one since we had the amount of two busses of people in one. Side note, I really hate when people sit in the aisle seat so no one sits in the window and they can have the row to themselves. They are always the first ones I go to when I want to sit b/c I? Am obnoxious like that.

I had a Kashi Go Lean Crunch!, Strawberry and Yoplait Greek Yogurt Parfait for breakfast

The Yoplait Greek Yogurt is growing on me. I really like that it’s not too sweet nor sour and 12g of protein. My coffee buddy who I usually go to Starbucks with finally got back from his two wk trip in Hawaii and we have been meaning to catch up. We finally got to today and it was wonderful. He has a snarky sense of humor and has as much frustration with our work as I do. It was great to catch him up on all things—how I’m overloaded, Stinkalicious, Hawaii (which I asked him if he saw any Lost tours but had no clue) and such.

This morning was busy but nothing out of control. I got to take a 20 minute lunch break (woo hoo!) to stroll over to the library and get some cd’s and books for the wknd. I brought lunch—Farfalle Pesto Chicken Pasta with sautéed mushrooms, onions and zucchini.

I need to make more pesto-ASAP.

This afternoon was pretty much making sure everything was in order for tomorrow. Word got around at some banks that I will be out of the office for ONE day and everyone was freaking out. That made me feel good. I hate that I work my butt off and am efficient but the other people on my team don’t roll that way. What can I say, I’m competitive and want to be the best. I took a 20 minute break with one of my co-workers and we walked one mile, which was great to get out and get some fresh air.

I had no clue what to have for dinner so just threw some random stuff together. I broke into my Morningstar Grilllers Prime. I love Morningstar products but never tried this kind before so I was exciting!

I had half of a sweet potato and half pita with my Trader Joe’s Edamame Hummus that I love so.

Told you it was a random meal. I slathered some BBQ sauce on the patties and for the most part liked them. I liked the texture since it wasn’t rubber like and the taste was decent. I don’t know if I am crazy about it like their black bean patties but a good quick fix.

After that, I was on a mission…..and kinda wishing someone could cure my lonely condition. I am going to a wedding with a girlfriend of mine the first weekend of June (Hello Irish-Italian wedding with open bar!) and need a dress. I went to Ross which I love because it’s so cheap yet has in fashion stuff. I found not one but TWO dresses for the wedding.

The contenders

Dress One–I absolutely love the pink and black color combo

Dress Two-love purple because it is the color of royalty and just felt classy in this dress.

I couldn’t decide so I got both (two dresses for $34?? Yes please)

But now the important question: Dress One or Two??

Please let me know what you think, be honest (and keep in mind I didn’t have my gut sucking undies on :) lol)

I stopped at the Dollar Tree afterwards to pick up some random stuff then off to the big event of the night-Harris Teeter. Right now, they have Double Coupons up to $1.98, which is a super happy time for me being the frugalista I am!

I got all of this:

*Mission Tortillas

*Real Simple Magazine

*Wholly Guacamole

*Two Cans of Mighty Dog food

*Beggin Strips

*Pedigree Good Bites

*Vanilla Frappaccino Four Pack

*Athenos Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

*Dove deodorant

*McCormick’s Cinnamon and Red Pepper Flakes

*Excedrin Migraine

*California Pizza Kitchen Personal Size Pizza

For $21!!!! I love my coupons so much :)

And Lincoln got a new baby to play with, he only has 38 babies so he needs some more. He was a bit excited!

The high is still going  and I’m just excited I don’t have to get up early. If I can sleep in until 730A I will be happy but we shall see. Happy almost Friday!

Qdoba and I are breaking up

19 May

That’s right…Qdoba and I are no longer friends. I had such a bad experience there today. I had a BOGO coupon for their Craft Two (similar to a Pick Two option) so one of my coworkers who I haven’t seen in a while and I  decided to hit up the new Qdoba that opened uptown.

I am a pretty spazzy person but it was complete sensory overload there. Music blaring, bright lights and then the big one…..employees yelling all kinds of stuff out. Now, just a little bit of me….I’m the loud girl. I know it and have been this way for a long time and not changing anytime soon. I’m not obnoxious or anything but let’s just say my voice carries. I ordered the Craft Two nachos and taco salad. Then the line of toppings came and suddenly being asked all kinds of things black or pinto beans? Chicken, steak or beef? Cheese, sour cream or guacamole? It was a tad off putting and left me frazzled.

They ended up giving me the normal size of nachos instead of the mini size and mini salad. They have a lovely outdoor patio so my friend walked out there and I hit my tray against a chair and it was like a taco salad pinata exploded! I am talking lettuce black beans corn salsa EVERYWHERE! I was in a skirt so didn’t want to bend on over and pick it up and thankfully, an employee came over and cleaned the mess up. They made me another salad and I got it to go for later, which once I opened it up at my desk for a late snack, noticed that it had three pieces of lettuce.

That is not a salad in my book. It was tasty but the chicken was too salty and again, no lettuce.

And success with another Diet Coke-less day! If I go out to a place that carries Coke products I always get Diet Coke to drink but I got water instead. I don’t have a problem with drinking the water( I usually down 100 oz at work alone) but it felt good to go without the soda. I could also really get used to this whole taking a lunch business as well. Which I will be doing a lot more now since we got EXCELLENT news this morning……we are getting a member from another team in our department to join our team temporarily AND a summer temp (which I hope he or she doesn’t start a fire ALA The Office). But wow, I am so excited. They finally acknowledged how busy we are, how exhausted we are and how much work is coming our way.

I love how in the meeting Stinkalicious was going on and on about how wonderful this is going to me. Hi Stinky, I do double the work you do each day, don’t get complaints about the work I do, don’t take four smoke breaks a day or a full lunch along with that, I don’t take a full lunch like you do and ask for help. If anyone is getting help, it’s this girl. And don’t even ask me how Stinkalicious has a job still, it saddens me that upper management doesn’t see this at all.

A huge headache hit me on the way home (which is still lingering) and I wasn’t too hungry but wanted a snack. I broke into my Trader Joe’s Edamame Hummus that I bought yesterday with half a pita pocket.

Holy WOW. This was just fabulous. It was rich, creamy, fluffy and everything I thought it would be. This is going to be a new favorite of mine. The wheels are turning as to what I can add this to cooking wise.

After that I cut coupons and laid on the couch watching Family Guy. Say it, you’re jealous of my single gal life style, I know. I didn’t want to get off the couch but it hit 7P which is past my dinner time and needed something other than beer and ice cream (I was seriously contemplating this for dinner).

I made an easy dinner—a grilled turkey and hot pepper cheese sandwich and a sweet potato.

My sweet potato is all about the love

A great, easy, savory meal! It was a bit too much and only finished half of the sweet potato though. And Lincoln is being a bad baby. He isn’t listening to me, is barking his balls off and won’t cuddle with me. Sigh.

And can we talk about Lost last night? What. An. Episode. I need to re watch soon but Desmond was so deliciously evil, I can’t wait to see the last (again, sigh) episode on Sunday. Speaking of delicious, I enjoyed these delicious strawberries during Lost last night

Breakfast was delicious this morning as well—-rich, creamy oats with banana, peanut butter and unsweetened coconut

I’m still not gaga about peanut butter but it’s starting to grow on me. I can see how someone can dig it but I had a negative experience back in high school. It was when Reece’s Pieces came out with their peanut butter cereal and I was hooked. I ate that every day along with peanut butter and jelly sandwiches each day for a month or so and overdid it. Until recently, peanut butter has just skeeved me out (peanut butter and chocolate combo is exempt though for obvious reasons!). One of my roommates used to grab a jar, take a spoonful and just go to town and it grossed me out so much.

Ok, lots of random things in this post. Hope everyone is having a Wonderful Wednesday!

18 May

OMG I am in pain today. My kettlebell session last night was a workout and a half. It hurts to walk, sit, type, etc but oh well, bring on the pain. I may have even whimpered a bit today but I will get over it. It just means I had a good workout :)

And I am glad to know I’m not the only one who is skeeved out by the nips showing through the shirt–thanks for the comments everyone!

Today was a great day at work–not slow but not ridiculously busy. Just enough to keep me occupied yet get me out on time— we like that.

Breakfast was a repeat from yesterday-Chobani 2% Plain Yogurt with fresh strawberries, unsweetened coconut topped with Kashi Crunch Cereal. I have two boxes sitting in my kitchen and never once thought to add it to my yogurt.

The produce for the day

Lunch was tuna salad on whole wheat with baby spinach and tomato and a bag of Trader Joe’s Lite KettleCorn

It used to be that any time I ate popcorn, I would have a Diet Coke. But I had a Diet Coke yesterday and it just tasted gross. I guess it’s actually possible I’m starting to not dig it as much after cutting down on my sugar and trying to cut down on artificial sweeteners as well. I rarely get any sugar free syrups in my morning coffee anymore (whereas I used to get two pumps Sugar Free Cinnamon Dolce every morning) and have cut down to one splenda in my coffee with a sprinkle of cinnamon. But still, not liking Diet Coke? I never thought this day would happen. Pass me the water, thank you.

And get this—this was the first lunch over 10 minutes I got to take in three weeks! I IM’ed a co-worker in another building and asked if she wanted to go for a walk and away we went. We walked 2 miles in 30 minutes and it was a great way to re-energize myself. The sun was out, we caught up on stuff and just nice not to be looking at a computer screen for a half hour.

On a daily basis at work I always have people telling me “If you’re ever in NYC or Boston, I owe you a drink” and I had a guy tell me this today. I told him that he better watch his mouth since I will be in NYC in July and he said we’re going out to lunch. Score for a free lunch! Now, to start collecting on all those drinks that I’ve been promised….

I stopped at the grocery store after I came home and took Lincoln out. I was excited because Bi-Lo had Chobani on sale for $1 so I was going to stock up. And they had none-major bummer. I got a rain check for 10 of them so I am waiting for this sale to end and stock up! They did have Yoplait Greek Yogurt on sale for $1 also but let’s be real, it’s no Chobani.

I stopped at Trader Joe’s as well since I feel like I haven’t been there in forever. In reality, it’s been five days.

And I got some new hummus (hummi?) to try!

I finally picked up a bag of their Pita Puffs

I was running low on my Kalamata Olive Hummus so took this opportunity to finish that up (if you look in the background you will see  a dog waiting for one to drop)

I’ve had a hankering for pesto lately and whipped up a batch

1 bunch of basil

2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil

2 tbsp pine nuts

1/3 cup grated parmesan

Garlic, salt and pepper (I add red pepper flakes to mine for a little bunch)

Could not be easier and such a flavorful alternative to spaghetti sauce and it’s amazing on sandwiches

Dinner was chicken breast baked with Kalamata Olive Hummus topped with feta and Farfalle Pasta with mushrooms, onions and pesto

This was a huge plate of comfort. I haven’t had a homecooked meal this good in awhile and will definitely be making this again.

And tonight is the last new episode before the series finale for Lost. I am so sad to see it go and don’t know what I am going to do without it (maybe finally catch up on Glee?) I really need to watch the last two episodes over again and may have to buy the complete series when it comes out. I am such a dork about this show. I won’t even begin to tell you how I go on the message boards to read people’s theories and such! lol

Anyone have any good suggestions for books? I finished Jen Lancaster’s latest book and can’t seem to get into anything else. I love Chick-Lit like Sophie Kinsella, Emily Giffin, Meg Cabot, etc. and mysteries. If anyone has read anything good, let me know :)

Nips

17 May

And no I don’t mean this kind

I mean this kind

All I see today are men’s nips. And it’s because of the date I went on on Saturday night. I didn’t type about this before because I was still kind of disgusted but need to let this out. So the dude I went out with had a nice button up shirt on but forgot his undershirt. And his nips were hard and sticking out through his shirt—eww. It’s all I could stare at and kept drinking in hopes that they would soon go away but they never did. Whenever I saw a guy today, I kept seeing his nips through his shirt and felt sick. I don’t know if he was secretly rubbing ice on those babies or just aroused (I cmon look at me lol) but yeah, seriously just grossed me out.  Ay chihuahua

I’m scarred.

Onto brighter things, I hate this hot, sticky weather. Not only do I feel nasty and can’t do my hair, I want something cold all the time and preferably ice cream. I need to get off this kick ASAP. I tried Blue Bunny Frozen Yogurt last night and it was terrific. I buy the single portions for myself because when it comes to ice cream or chips, I have no portion control whatsoever.

Lincoln gave it two paws up as well

It was a nasty day today, all rainy and humid. I have a rough time on Mondays in the first place so the weather did not help at all. Plus, I had a dream last night that Cher and Alex Baldwin teamed up and were trying to kill me so I was kinda perturbed waking up.

Chobani was on sale for $1 each at the supermarket this wknd and stocked up on plain since that’s all they had. I had Chobani 2% Plain Yogurt with fresh strawberries, coconut and coconut granola for breakfast

This morning was busy so it went by quickly and not too many issues on hand.

Once again, I celebrated National Salad Month and had a BIG Salad with baby spinach, bella mushrooms, zucchini, cucumbers and tuna salad topped with Kraft Light Three Cheese Ranch

Wknd Recap

16 May

Hi all, been totally MIA this wknd but I am back. This was the first wknd in the past three I didn’t have to work so I was super happy about that.

I went to Pet Palooza yesterday with one of my friends and our dogs. It was similar to Bark in The Park with lots of vendors but not as much free stuff-boo.

Breakfast

And a fun graphic tee

I laid by the pool when we got back and got some reading time in. The actual pool isn’t open yet so I only lasted an hour and a half but that was enough time to get some color on me.

I made chicken tacos when I got back

I took a much-needed nap afterwards and got ready for my date so no pics there. And the date wasn’t that much to talk about either so yeah…….I got free beer and free sushi so I guess I’m happy about that. We went to Jade Asian Fusion and it was great–had various rolls and will definitely be going back, sans dude.  I really don’t even have any funny stories or anything interesting about the night.  I got home by 11, watched some SNL, passed out, woke up at 3, took Lincoln out then went back to bed and slept in until 10A—I can’t remember the last time I slept in that late! I felt like a million bucks and was ready to have a day of relaxation.

I made a big breakfast of Nature’s Path Pomegran Waffles and egg scramble with mushrooms and cheese topped with ketchup

I laid out by the pool again then went out to run errands. Nothing big, just the grocery store and Target. And I left Target spending under $50 and not going nuts on the clearance rack-yay!

I made a roast beef and cheese sandwich for late lunch with Kettle Brand Salt N Pepper Chips

It started to rain so Lincoln and I watched a movie then had some nap time action. I hate Sunday afternoons, it’s so hard for me to be at home and NOT nap.

For dinner, I decided to try something new. I butterflied two chicken breasts, spread Trader Joe’s Kalamata Olive Hummus on it and topped with feta cheese. I rubbed evoo on the breast and seasoned with pepper, garlic salt and oregano.

And of course, had a BIG Salad on the side with baby spinach, zucchini, cucumbers, tomato and cheese.

Absolutely delicious!!! I need to make this or a variation of this more. I really never eat chicken breats anymore (if I do, I cut into strips or pieces) do to an overload of it last yr but when dressed up like this, I don’t see how I could get sick of it.

I need to prepare for this wk (I have a Friday off–yay!!!) and off to catch up on blogs. Hope everyone had a fabulous wknd!!!

Hippies+ Hummus =Happiness

14 May

Hey all-the wknd is here-woo hoo!! I racked up nine hours of OT this wk so suffice to say, I’m happy this wk is over. Let’s go over some eats and things from the past two days. And on a side note, having MAJOR issues with Photobucket and my pictures tonight and am slowly going crazy.

I had a savory bowl of oats yesterday at work with a baked apple and chunky  peanut butter. This was one of the jars of Crazy Richards that I won and really don’t eat pb too much (blasphemy I know) so I decided to take it into work and add into my daily breakfast routine.

Yesterday was crazy busy….I’m  talking ridiculously crazy busy. On average, I will close 50 to 60 trades but yesterday—-117. WTF?  So more than double that I normally do and still kept my sanity (somewhat). Sucks though because it was an absolutely beautiful day and I felt cute.

Really digging this whole wearing skirts business, why did I go so long without wearing skirts?

Another BIG Salad for lunch (I am really die hard about celebrating National Salad Month) with baby spinach, carrots, mushrooms, tomato and chicken salad that I made the night before. I usually chop the chicken but mixed celery, onion and chicken in the food processor and the consistency was like KFC’s cole slaw (one of my most favorites ever) and I loved it. I topped with T Marzetti’s Honey Balsamic.

I needed an afternoon pick me up which could only mean one thing—half priced frapp! Due to the bad day, I went all out……Grande Coffee Frapp with whipped cream and caramel drizzle–awww yeah

I went to Copper last night with my networking group. I’ve only had Indian food once before and had anything involving curry so I was a little weary to try it again but was pleasantly surprised. I was in MAJOR need of an alcoholic beverage and went with King Fisher Premium Lager (x3)

We started out with naan (which I loved and could eat all day long) and various dips such as a mint and cilantro chutney, yogurt with carrots and another orange jellyish one that tasted like duck sauce. I had to stop myself from gorging on that alone because in my book beer and bread is totally a legit meal.

I was going to go with the tiki masala but ended up getting a spiced duck dish which was marvelous

I just love when food is also artwork. All in all, good times had by all! It was nice to get out and try something different for once. I can’t wait until I move since it won’t take me a good half hour just to get to places like this restaurant (which is conveniently located in the neighborhood I am moving to).

I was completely dragging this morning but had the light of the tunnel which is the wknd in mind so I rallied and pulled through.

I tried out my Liberte Yogurt-Plum and Walnut for breakfast.

I added banana, coconut granola and unsweetened coconut to it

The one thing I forgot? A spoon to eat it with. So I had to eat yogurt with a plastic fork. Good times.

I got a little break in work today so not terribly busy but not peaceful but I did get some good buys from my hippies

Their cilantro bunches were only $1 and it’s all I could smell the rest of the day. I loved it.

I polished off the last of my hummus which was bittersweet.

I had a weakass lunch of chicken, cheese, rice and tomato. Such a shame to because it looked pretty. I ate everything but the rice, it just tasted nasty.

I stopped at Trader Joe’s on the way home and picked up their Kalamata Olive Hummus

I took a much-needed nap when I get home and had dinner around 830P which is super late for me. I had Trader Joe’s Mandarin Orange Chicken with peppers, onions, zucchini, mushrooms and peas.

And a funny flick for my entertainment

I was planning on catching up on blogs tonight other than that but this post has taken me two hours to post so now I’m extremely frustrated. And I’m waking up at 7A tomorrow so yeah, I need rest.

Curry up!

13 May

So I’m trying Indian food for the second time ever this evening. I cannot stand anything about curry (taste, smell, etc.) If anyone can give me some suggestions on what I should get that would be great!

Hot Damn

12 May

For anyone out there who hates dogs, all I have to say is look at the picture below and then tell me how you feel.

SPOILED!!!! This is what I have to look at what I’m getting ready in the morning. Lincoln gets undercover and today one of his babies was in bed with him. Too cute.

Another day another dolla. Nothing too exciting, work was still insanely busy but today went a bit smoother and I actually got to take a 20 minute lunch! I forgot how good it feels to get outside and breathe.

I had oats with banana, blueberry flax and coconut for breakfast

The last of my leftover lasagne for lunch

I stopped at the library on my lunch break because that had a ton of cd’s I requested including one of my favorites of all time

And even had time to stop at Starbucks and get a half priced frapp, this only until Friday from 3P to 5P so jump on it! I got a Grande Coffee Light Frapp

Even this was heavy. How do people drink these everyday (and the full cal/fat ones)? It’s totally a dessert.

I was in a great mood when I get home from having a semi-peaceful day! Onto dinner….now I can appreciate a number of hot things including

Hot weather

Hot Men

Hot Fuss (one of my top 10 fave cd’s of all time)

And I thought I could appreciate hot peppers

I’ve had these sitting in my pantry for awhile and wanted to finally use them in something. I decided on a simple dish of tacos for dinner….although I had no fresh produce because of the lack of hippies this wk.

I chopped up the peppers and onions and let them stew on the stovetop

Then threw in some chicken pieces to let cook with the peppers and onions

When it was done, I tasted a piece of the pepper and HOT DAMN!!! I love hot stuff but cmon, my mouth was on fire!! Ay Dios Mio (thank you four years of spanish for allowing me to say that and Ay Papi dame mas hehehehe) I put a few of the small pieces on my tacos but lesson learned–taste first.

Looks wise, these were the lamest tacos I’ve ever made. I love using fresh produce to pack onto the tacos and it was nill this time. Flavor wise on the other hand, it was great. Maybe I shall use again chipotle peppers!

I was going to do some kettlebell action tonight but have a running date with a girlfriend of mine. I’ve never run with anyone before so I am kinda nervous (since I am super slow) but excited!

Happy Hump Day!

And scene

11 May

Holy effballs, two days from hell in a row. Not cool. I just noticed I didn’t post food pics from yesterday so this will be a foodlicious post.

Let’s start with the food because, cmon, it’s a lot more fun than work talk!

Breakfast yesterday was a good bowl of oats with banana, coconut and blueberry flax

And of course, a BIG salad in celebration National Salad Month with baby spinach, carrots, kidney beans, tomato, cheese, chicken, peas with Ken’s Lite Honey Mustard dressing.

Dinner was boring compared to that though–leftover pierogies

My friend gave me this container of Williams Sonoma Peppermint Hot Chocolate

To make it extra chocolate-licious

Would have been perfect with whipped cream!

Last night, I couldn’t fall asleep for the life of me. I only got four hours of sleep the night before and was up until almost 1A last night (morning?)…..grrrr!

I started out with a Kashi Go Lean Chocolate Peanut Bar this morning

I went into Starbucks ready for a HOT Venti drip coffee and they told me they were out of hot water. What? Isn’t this what most of your business is based off of? I got a Venti Iced Coffee instead but wasn’t happy about it. It was cold and rainy this morning so wanted a warm cup of happiness. I could have gotten a cup of the breakroom stuff but don’t want to start growing hair on my chest.

I then had a bowl of Chobani Strawberry Greek Yogurt with coconut granola.

And still hungry. One may say ravenous. And then I starting having horrible stomach aches and realized I had a friend in town, meh. I was just in a rotten mood. When someone called, I was rude which I never am at work no matter how busy or crappy of a mood I’m in. I have some apology calls to make to people who I was rude to today. And people kept looking at my strange because I had my hoodie on with my hood up on my head ala the Unibomber.

And my hair looked like crap. And I forgot my lipstick so I just felt weird without having any on yes (yes I do wear lipstick to take Lincoln out and to the grocery store). Since it was raining, the hippies weren’t out today either, meh.

I brought my lunch with me but just didn’t want it. I want something greasy. Something fatty. Something fried. And that left me with one place in mind—Bojangles!!

Awwww yeah.

I got a horrible for me meal….a leg and thigh with fries and a biscuit….and a 32 oz Mountain Dew. If I was going all out, I was going to go all out.

It was delicious.

Soon after though, I felt nauseous. And then remembered why I don’t eat fast food that much anymore. How on earth did I used to put this in my body multiple times per wk year after year? Dear Body, my sincerest apologies. This afternoon was a big mess of sickness, tiredness and stress. Not a good combination. I tried to leave early but that was a no go.

I took Lincoln for a walk, talked on the phone with my sister and parentals and was actually in a good mood despite the horrible day. I was off to make dinner, which was a complete 180 from my lunch.

I nuked some veggies that had been sitting in the freezer forever

Made some red quinoa…..which was new for me.

And baked a catfish filet with lemon juice, butter, lemon pepper seasoning and paprika

A balanced dinner!

Not sure how I feel about the quinoa though….anyone have any tips on cooking it or types they like?

Getting ready to watch Lost soon and can we talk about Sex and The City 2 coming out soon???!! Cannot wait! I liked the movie but still love the show more but fell in love with the first soundtrack and can’t wait to hear what the second one is like.

This is my favorite song from the first soundtrack

This is why I work

10 May

Some people have jobs they love, some have jobs they hate and some have jobs they are meh about. I fall into the last category…not crazy about what I do however I don’t hate it. I’m just meh. But I know I’m good at what I do and have a good work ethic.

Some days I just need to remind myself why I work.

I work so I can travel to places like…..

Bahamas and Grand Turk

And Mexico

San Francisco

Chicago

Phoenix

I work so I can go to concerts (and of course tailgate beforehand)

I work so I can go back to my college for homecoming

I work so I can take care of this little guy and provide a nice, happy home for him (Karla, this ones for you!)

Some days I really need to remind myself why I work so hard, day in and day out. Is it for the money? Hell yeah. But more importantly, it’s for the memories of places I’ve gone, things I’ve seen and people (and four legged friends) in my life.
